I am flying in on Allegiant Air to Grand Island. I have never seen the airport there and I have no idea what I'm in for. I'm flying in and later out of so if anyone has any information that could be helpful I would appreciate it. I am traveling with my 3 year old daughter so I'm trying to cover all my bases.

Its tiny. If you're afraid of traffic or congestion or anything like that then don't worry. Its very small. I haven't been there in years but it should actually be pretty convenient for you. I'm sure it'll take a hardly anytime to gate, get your luggage and get your rental.

The only inconvenience is lack of flights, but considering you're flying in and already have that arranged that issue is completely irrelevant.

Thanks for the information. I just couldn't pass up the $29 ticket price.

My father flies in and out of GRI on Allegiant several times a year and says it's incredibly easy. If I recall, there's free parking at the terminal and then you simply walk across the street to get to the gate. I guess its the type of place where the check-in agent also works the flight and helps load the passengers. One thing that comes to mind: I'm sure they'll have plenty of rental cars available, but if you arrive without a rental car reservation, you might want to make one or at least call ahead to confirm that they have a car for you.

As an aside, I took my flight lessons out of that airport back several years ago, so it holds a special place in my heart. Enjoy your trip!
