I will be visiting Omaha soon and need to find a nice hotel in the Downtown Old Market.
So far I am considering either The Magnolia or The Hilton. Which one is really the nicer one? I love historic places so the Magnolia appeals to me on that front but I'm interested in cleanliness and style.
What kind of clientele stay there?
Are there any others I should consider and why?
Are there any antique shops nearby?

Thanks

Well just looking at reviews the Magnolia is given 4-5 stars.

I would be unique and just go for the Magnolia. Looks great to me.

Go with the Magnolia. It looks great inside and has the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. It's got a large, quiet bar that serves free cookies at night. And if you plan on going out, their shuttles are escalades.

Sounds nice, we are driving but is parking a problem? Also, is it safe to park a really nice car there? (not trying to be boastful-- but I'm just concerned...I work hard for what I have).

Your car will be fine at the Magnolia. I'm saying the Magnolia is unique and the Hilton isn't, so stay there.
