Default If I was moving to Beemer or Oakland or Tekamah or Wisner or Pilger or West Point

which city would you recomend for someone wanting to live in a small town cause he is getting tired of Omaha

also what is the difference between these small towns (stores, jobs, etc.)

Are you retired or what is your job situtation?

I have family in Pilger but think Pilger or Wisner would be to small for you.

Maybe West Point.
Beemer and Tekamah would be similar to Wisner except actual location.
Tekamah is on the river if you are into that.

Can't comment on Oakland.

my job situation is okay, but If I thought of retiring years from now from my job and living in a small town,

I was asking about those cause I went though them recently while going between Omaha and Norfolk recently to see relatives.

I seen Pilger or Beemer being too small. I was rooting more towards West Point or Tekamah.

felt like asking about them all cause I wanted to hear info on these towns. all of them look like good small towns.

West Point is a thriving farming community. Tekamah is going in the opposite direction, but still a nice place. West Point is a short drive to Fremont or Norfolk. Tekamah is closer to Omaha. There could be some cheap property available between Tekamah and the river.
