My father attended a college that I think was called Guide Rock College that doesn't exist now. I have some old yearbooks and photos up in the attic ... I'll check them to see the exact name of the college. My great grandfather was the McCallum who helped survey the town as part of the original party. My Mom taught elementary school in Weeping Water as a teenager. My brother and sister and I are trying to find more family history, from Minden farms etc.
In any case - if anybody knows about the history of Guide Rock College, and can perhaps suggest a good place for the yearbooks and other stuff, please let me know at
