David City
Making a stop where my great grandparents lived which was David City, there both burried at the cemetery, last name was combs, had several kids that moved away from town, how can i find out about the graves? Does David City have any motels? Any info is appricatted it.

Can't help you with the graves, as for motels I am not sure about David City, but Wahoo, Columbus, Schyuler, York and Seward would have them and they are reasonably close. Here is a number to a Chermok Funeral home, they might have info for the graves (402-367-3224).

Check city hall or hall of records. They could tell you about grave locations; If the graves are in the city. Otherwise, try the county courthouse. Call during the week though.

David City has a nice motel on north side of town next to the Pizza Hut.

I agree with Sandhills Guru. The motel in DC is quite nice. It was recently purchased by a different family, remodeled and I want to say it was renamed, too (something or other Rose?) But it used to be the Fiesta. I've stayed there many times over the years most recently in March. (Mom was from DC and Grandma lived there until just this spring).
