There is quite a long thread about this tragedy and the relationship to gun control on "General US". Maybe we could focus more on the people here. Just my opinion.

You're welcome. My family there is safe, but my sister-in-law lost a friend in the tragedy.

I am so sorry to hear of you sister in laws loss. So sensless and to any normal thinking person, horrible. I just can't comprehend how anyone can get to the point where killing innocent people is the answer to their problems. |

My thoughts go out to the family members of the victims of the tragedy. I can't even imagine the feeling of being there when it happened.

I cannot believe that something like this happened in MY state. It's scary and really hits home that this can happen ANYWHERE!
I will continue to send my prayers to everyone involved in this horrible tragedy.
