What a coincidence. My dad got caught in that same intersection. He practically drove right into the tornado after dropping my mom off at work. A power line fell on the hood of his car and he took shelter in the tire rack of a gas station just across from the Baker's on 72nd. He watched the tornado hit the Bakers and continue onward.
