I don't think the state got more red... I think Kerry got more blue... when he was governor he was more moderate and that worked in this red but moderate state... now he is more extreme blue and that won't work in this still red but moderate state.

I was reading where Nebraskan representatives generally are in the most part pretty respectable people as for the most part they don't let their party stand in the way as to what they think is right or wrong.

This is true for the most part, however, one thing they do that is really is upsetting is that while it is true that 65% of Nebraskan's believe that sins should be outlawed, it is however anti-american to set any 'social' laws that are not sins in their beliefs.

In other words, it is not okay, federally or state-wise to have social laws, unless it is a sin in the bible..

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human services has stopped all information sharing on the health of homosexuals, mainly because they said 'they dont have too.'

One thing to think about with that type of mentality is that, what if the federal government didn't protect the other classes? Just a thought...

Homosexuals with deadly deseases should be quarantined along with TB and other contagious deseases , imo , so others aren't infected . But instead they are celebrated like heros . I don't watch much tv anymore, I don't care to see them . And thank goodness I'm old and don't have kids in school now . No teacher would ever sit in front of my 5th grade child and demonstrate with a banana to them how to have sex in every crevice of their body . Of course now they are claiming sex is good for children at any age and zoophiles are coming out of the closets in droves . I'm intolerent of such just as intolerent as they are about my beliefs . Seeing them drag those little kids around in their 'PRIDE' parades while they strip naked and fondle each other is repulsive to me . A normal person doing this in presence of a child would be put in jail for porn . Carrying signs " sex before eight or it's too late " or " I had sodomy for breakfast " should be a crime .

I have 11 grandkids exsposed to this crap . So I don' like it one bit . Perversions of many kinds has robbed our children of their innocence . I blame the hippys who are now members of AARP and want the rest of us to give them everything after they helped destroy this nation and it's young . They did have some nice music though .

Too much sports and enteretainment, just like the Romans right before their fall . Our son and son-in-laws can get really emotional over a bad play or lost race , while their kids are being brainwashed in schools . They are basically good people . They all believe in God, go to church but don't pay attention to community and nation .

We have seen drastic changes in the past 40 years and few are possitive,imo.

I think they got their colors mixed up ! I think the red ' states should be for the red communist socialist they are . But it's getting to be to where you can't tell the difference in Washinton DC . Seems like they just put on a show for us . I feel very bad about what they are doing to this nation . But worse is what we are ' ALLOWING ' them to do, by voting for lessor of two evils and still geting evil and not nessasary lessor of it .

Everyone here should watch the vidio " OBSESSION ' [ google it ]. If it don't wake you up, nothing will . It's not one of those conspiracy things, it's all news and independant investigation . One part showed a group of muslims burning and stomping on our flag in middle of downtown NYC , ' with a loud speaker calling for the takeover of America and even bragging about how they will use our ' democracy ' to do it . All this while the appeasers or cowards or whatever you call them walk by or stare like dumb fools while be threatened in their own city , the same city where they watched 911 and their fellow Americans burn, crushed and leaping from building . Already they have taken most Europe . Shouting in streets of London , " FREEDOM GO TO HELL " , BUTCHER THOSE WHO INSULT ISLAM " , EUROPE IS THE CANCER,ISLAM IS THE ANSWER " , BE PREPARED FOR THE REAL HOLOCAUST " , " EUROPE YOUR GOING TO PAY, YOUR 911 IS ON IT'S WAY " .

I live in Lincoln currently. Our newspaper the Lincoln Journal Star has promoted just about every liberal agenda for the past twenty years. If you want you can read about 90% of the contents of the LJS every day for free by going to JournalStar.com .
The Omaha World Herald seems to be a bit more conservative in its' positions but then Omaha is a workingmans town while Lincoln is so dominated by the University and State and Federal employees.

Because of the shooting at the Westroads Mall in Omaha on Dec. 5th, 2007 there are going to be all kinds of new legislative bills introduced to curtail the rights of firearm owners. The local news media here in Lincoln is already starting a big push for this. We have ONE MORE YEAR OF ERNIE! Anyone familar with Nebraska politics knows what I am referring too LOL.

I can't think of a more dangerous time in our history to lose our right to protection .

My husband keeps his close by but under lock and key .

Our nations kids are dying from lack of attention from family .

We are not the same citizens we use to be for sure, now we are affraid to speak out . I use to watch history movies or movies about nations being put under abusive dictatorships . I would wonder why so many people allowed them to do these things to them without even a whimper of rejection , now I see it here also .

I know the founders and settlers of the western nations have had a fighting spirit throughout their history and they built the greatist nations the earth has ever known . I think God was with us because most of the time we were with Him .
