South is another pocket of Sandhills, e. (I used to live south of NP)

But no one driving the interstate is going to see any of it.

Nice thing about forums like this, people can become aware of them and take the side trip off the interstate to experience it. I know of a few folks who have altered their path thru the state (off I-80) to experience some of the great things that you'd never see otherwise.
