You know I used your little spy network and did a search of my hometown. The names it shows that supposely live there or whatever. Those names are not familiar with the town or have ever even lived there. So don't think to much of the accuracy of this sight to be honest with you.

Ok, OK lighten up! I didn't say this was my "little spy network" or the difinitive site for this stuff just that I was shocked by what it shows. Thank you, you have given me some info. that maybe this site is not very accurate. I'll have to do more research on what it shows in my current town and see how accurate it is. I'm hoping it's very wrong because I think Scottsbluff seems like a great place. I just want all the accurate info I can get before I make any hard decisions where to move.

How did you check with the town to see if these people actually exist or not? I'd like to do the same here. Thanks again.

The same is true of me and my town. My little community of less than 200 "located" 11 people, none of whom I've ever heard of. Several of whom were "located" in the pastures on the edge of town. lol The rest were in houses that are occupied by people I know...
And then there's Ben Phelps (25), aggravated sexual assault, who's known address seems to be the old hotel (which doesn't have a west wall or a roof, btw)

I don't think I'm going to put much stock in that site, either...
I wonder what their purpose is...

I also wasted a few minutes on that site, and it also showed people living in the ravine and steep mountainside behind my house. News to me... lol. I recognized not a single name in my town, either. Weird.

I wonder if there's someone that this site can be reported to. They can sure scare someone off from buying somewhere. That's why I posted it here. I just couldn't believe there were that many bad folks living in what I was told was such a nice place. Sure glad I checked here and got straightened out.

Yep, you hit it on the head. In a town of 310 total population, it showed like 12 felons. Now in the last 54 odd years that I know of, no one with that name has ever lived there.

I opologize for the mis used words. I didn't mean your little spy sight.

The way I verified the town I looked up on it was quite simple. I lived most my life, still know 98% of the people living there and the names don't belong or ever had.

I believe there is a sex offender's registry that is pretty accurate and that info can be obtained via the local sheriff/police station.

I can understand wanting to check out an area you are thinking of moving too also, I would like to think I would do the same.

I really don't think you could go wrong in Scottsbluff. I still have 3 friends living in the town itself or close by. They think the world of it. Times I have visited, I would say it ranks right up with the best of Nebraska.

The scenic & outdoors access areas that surrounds the city is outstanding. And if its the big city life you need a shot of once in awhile, Denver isn't that far off.

I love the outdoors and hunting, camping etc. I do believe This area is wnat i want. I'll be getting out there to visit either this summer or sometime next year.
