last night? We had it all day yesterday! A nice little blizzard that dumped about 5 or 6 inches, I'm guessing...
The vast majority of it's gone by this afternoon, though.

Guess I was way off on the snow huh. We got about the same as you lookingsouth, although some places really got dumped on. At least they are forecasting low 70's middle of next week.

I can't believe how warm the forecast is for next week!
60s and 70s are likely across a good section of the Plains and Midwest.

Last week I too was doing outdoor preparation for the first yard waste pick up which started this week. I was out in short sleeves and the last two days had to dig out the blasted coat, hat and gloves~geeze!

Oh, no, it's not the only place. We had lovely weather over the weekend in metro Denver, then a moderate snowstorm on Wednesday/Thursday. Sorry to go off topic, just had to reply.

In the Upper Midwest (especially this time of the year), if you do not like the weather, just wait awhile and it will change. I am getting excited for the warmer weather. I can finally do a thorough cleaning of my car and go bicycle riding.

The warmer weather is getting me exciting about going to Colorado later in May and I will have an opportunity to go through the fine state of Nebraska. Nebraska is nice to go through in early summer when it is nice and green and not overly hot and humid (humid in the eastern half).

We went to Curtis this weekend, when we went down, it was clear sky you could see rain off to the South, when my parents came down about a 1/2 hour later, they drove through sleet/snow and rain..... During the wedding I looked outside and it was snowing heavy, after the wedding the sun was shining. Then on the way home around 1:30 A.M. The weather was beautiful.. but the deer were plentiful, made for a very scary ride home.

I have lived in 12 different states, and Nebraska has the worst weather of any of them. Maybe that's why so many people here are in a bad mood.
