I read that article and this is happening all over America. This is why i left California. Undocumented workers, get foodstamps, welfare checks, medical, section 8 housing, social security, home loans, and more... While America's foot the bill. Very few people want to deal with these issues. Even Obama is saying he will help these people. Why? They donot contribute any money, so why give them money. Companies are looking for cheap labor. They have child after child all to make them a burden on the American people. Neighborhoods that were once vibrant are being destroyed. Why not hire qualified people who are Americans? I could go on.

Wow after reading alot of these posts, I never realized how big this issue really is. I was reading about the illegal aliens in Nebraska and especially in the Omaha and Grand Island area. I was also bothered about hearing about the high crime rate. In spring, I'am planning on moving to Ogallala west of North Platte and now reading about all this has my mind wondering, what is the crime rate in that area and are there alot of illegals in that area as well? Mind you this is a topic I never gave thought about until now and I'am glad for all your posts and insight.

You mean the American Indians don't you? And we know what kind of a work over they got.

Personally I don't have a problem with people coming to our country to find a better place to raise their families or to better themselves. But do it legally, register, get a green card or whatever it takes. Follow the laws of the land, pay your share of taxes, and no special treatment from the government. And speak the language.

I went to Denver and couldn't believe downtown. Don't forget that even if they have a STOLEN SS# all they have to do is claim exempt so they don't get the usual taken out. 12 million? You all haven't seen anything yet, come take a trip to a border state. We have hospitals closing, schools busting at the seams with kids on the free meals programs, long streams of "hard working" at the WIC facilities and daily reports of hit and runs. The schools are at a standstill trying to get the kids of these Illegals grades up to snuff as they are ESL. Not to mention multiple families per apt that makes parking impossible in the poorer hoods. Entire neighborhoods are completing reverse make-overs displacing current populace and cultures.

Cities like Escondido are being held hostage, every time they try to reign in the madness the ACLU is right there to shoot it down on technicalities. The Cops hands are tied and unless the BP can catch them crossing they can't do a thing about it either after they setup shop in these "Sanctuary Cities". There truly is 2 completely different set of rules come dealing with Illegal Aliens and their set is mild.

Oh ya, it's a party all right.

And finally, by paying illegals substandard wages you are creating a permanent underclass while silmultaneously undermining US citizens ability to enter the middle class by restricting blue collar jobs. That is not the america I would want for my children, why would you want it for yours?

Last 3 posts were right on! I DO live in a border state and I can tell you that it's not the educated illegals coming over. It's the uneducated, crime ridden and voodoo worshiping masses. You want pictures? I can send pictures easily. They can take a once fairly nice neighborhood and it will be a total slum within 2 years at most. Trash in the streets, broken beer bottles on the sidewalks, dead animals used for rituals and that's just a start. You bleeding hearts need to go to Mexico and change them there. I can remember as a young man working on construction projects, road projects and there wasn't a mexican to be seen anywhere at all. It was exclusively caucasions or blacks and sometimes an American Indian. This was all over the nation too. You only see hispanic illegals where a place has been built and they come to claim it in the name of "we do the yobs americans won't" crap.

Desire to put 12 million Americans back to work? Deport 12 million illegals and it will be done.

Of Lexington,Nebraska you would understand the impact.
Anyone who has lived in a town like this and saw the changes happen overnight..
Could tell you.
