Anyone In Ord, Nebraska or CLOSE by?
Is there anyone here who lives in Ord or fairly close by... or goes there on a semi regular basis?
If so, please, kindly, send me an email to walkerbroadcasting(at)gmail(dot)com
I have a few questions about the town that I'd prefer to ask off the board ere.
Thanks a BUNCH in Advance!

..
A little rant...
Everybody knows that tax breaks are needed to spur economic growth of the top quality jobs..
The state of Nebraska knows this and the state is doing an absolutely incredible job getting this done..
However, what makes me very angry about our current state government is how they are doing almost NOTHING about the potential of cities like Ord, Broken Bow, Valentine, Alliance, Mc Cook, St. Paul, Falls City, Fairbury and etc..
I swear that they have to know that if they were to give extra tax breaks to select designation areas with serious potential like those cities (and select others) that they can retain some of the people and allow these select markets to at least slowly grow, while others should even see robust growth...
I am actually very angry, because there is a lot of potential for certain industry in the lesser populated area.. I am going to write the state, with this in mind..
The cities along I-80 are getting most of the population out-migration from these counties..
