The tornado in Lincoln was a mistake. It was called in, then confirmed, then unconfirmed, then we were told there was no tornado touch down.
That's what the news said anyway. I live in Lincoln and I couldn't see anything that even looked like a tornado during that storm. There was some major rotation in the clouds, but that was it.

Default No tornado

I'm in Lincoln too, around 35th and A. Saw lots of rotation and rain but no funnel clouds, although I heard that report too. My neighborhood didn't get the hail, wind and rain other areas did this time either.

Well, a storm that could produce tornadoes has just a developed up here in northeast Nebraska near O'Neill and is headed southeast to Norfolk and inevitably Omaha, good luck down there guys.

Brrrrr, I am uncomfortable when it's under 75 degrees, inside or out!

Then again, NE will have a heat wave in Oct in the mid 80's and I'm often chilled in CA in the late afternoon...

Wow 75 degrees! I'd advise you to move to Ecuador if you were forced to leave SoCal, lol

LOL, probably more true than I wish! Wish I wasn't wired this way, but I'm just a human salamander, as some people like to call me! Enjoy the football season, Husker's!

So ummm... What's up with the 80 degree weather in October?
Not that I'm complaining. It's amazingly beautiful outside and we are SO blessed not to be thrown right into winter after summer. But, I'm seriously starting to wonder if summer is on the horizon. It seems like springtime!
It's odd to finally have 70 - 80 degree days in fall. I'm so used to it going from 90+ to 70, to 50 in a matter of a week or two.

Its been great!! There is suppose to bring a system to bring some rain and cool us down, but its still suppose to be in the 70's. September is usually a warmer month though, and it is early October, so our time will come.
