No, we are ok, never lost power... just trying to get ready for daughter's arrival. (Besides, we have a genny a woodstove, and kero lamps - we will be warm, eat, and see, if nothing else!
Here's the snowdrift outside the corral -
The front of the house faces south, so aside from what blew over it and froze, not much -
And my little family of supper guests (starting the 14th) came by for their corn
All in all, quite a cool First Blizzard in the new house!

Great pics! Hope your daughter has safe travels. Doesn't look like too bad of a travel day. Looks like parts of Nebraska could be seeing snow Monday and Tuesday.

Snowing a little here also. Doesn't sound like its suppose to do much, wind is going to be a problem though. They had Winter Storm watch for Eastern Nebraska but it got canceled. I believe there is a Winter Weather Advisory for northeast Nebraska.

Snow is blowing still here; smaller flakes and ice particles, visibility is down but nothing like the blizzard last month. Schools here are delayed-start for 2 hours tomorrow. Watch out; these roads are slippery... there's ice underneath that light fluffy stuff!
And more to come this weekend!!! WHOO HOO!! "Just hear those sleigh bells ring-aling, ting-ting-tingaling too..."
