OK, October snow is weird. Not tooo weird, though, as my brother in ID gets it all the time. I told him he had two seasons, winter and the Fourth of July, and he shook his head slowly and sadly. "Nope," he said. "We had one Fourth of July Picnic that got a blizzard."

I think it's great. The more moisture the better for the plants later... can you imagine what next year's hay and other harvests ought to be - if we can get some sunshine and decent heat next summer?
