Ok just an update here, my power was out for the last 2 hours and I was just about to post here, the storm didn't produce any tornadoes in Omaha and it most of it went to the south of the Omaha Metro and is crossing into Iowa.

I've been listening to the "award winning" 1240 KFOR in Lincoln, online for the last 2 1/2 hours.. they've had very exhaustive, yet comprehensive coverage.

The storm went right north of us. We caught alittle bit of heavy rain, thunder, lightening and high winds for about a half an hour.
We actually had a tornado siren go off around 820pm or so. I think they just did it to warn people we were in a tornado warning b/c it only lasted for maybe 5 minutes.
It was so exciting though. I hate to see the devastation that tornadoes leave, but I can't help that this sort of weather is incredibly exciting to me.

Looks like we're in for it again tomorrow

Pretty soon you will be providing exhaustive, yet comprehensive coverage for Ord area.

We had a nasty nasty storm move through about 1 a.m. last night. They sounded the sirens even though there were no tornadoes, because of 70 mph winds. It really sounded nasty, it really didn't howl, it sounded more like hammering against the house. Lots of singles and tree branches laying around, I'm sure as people inspect this morning, there will be more damage. Kearney also was under a tornado warning about midnight last night.

It is suppose to be worse today, and guess what, at 7 am there is already a tornado warning for Chase county. Lots of Nebraska under flash flood warnings too.

lisalynn is on a distinguished road
My kids live in North Platte and they are under the gun at the moment.
I work for a Sand & Gravel company and we have county trucks getting loads of sand, my boss's and some of our employees went to go help sandbag out on airport road.
The ditches out here can not take no more water. I love storms but this is getting old and sounds like it is going to get scary this afternoon.

This is starting to get ridiculous, could this storm survive all the way across the state?

That particular storm is headed north into the sandhills, but look out this afternoon. I with ya lisalynn, this is getting old and its getting scary about how they keep going on about how nasty its going to get today.

I'm watching KETV's weather now, on channel 123 if you have advanced cable, they say this new storm will be even stronger than the last 2, All of Nebraska is expected to get hit, and the storm is forming as we speak, several tornadoes are expected. Good luck everyone, you are all in my prayers.

But there is good news, this is expected to be the last storm for a while and tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day.

In Papillion this morning the wind damage primarily affected large trees, plus Papio Creek is flowing very high again (and carrying lots of trash like tree limbs/branches)...
