Yes, your right about that. I think some 85% of the folks that live in North Omaha think it is it's own small town. So I would accept the nomination.

I stopped in Fairbury once, to ask if I could use the internet terminal in the public library. The librarian told me they charged a dollar an hour. When I looked quizzically at her, she explained "We have to pay for internet service." I asked how much it would cost me to read a magazine, which they also have to pay for.
I've heard since that Fairbury has become a very bad teenage drug town.

For the record, it's OGALLALA (NOT ogalla)!!!! I grew up there and it's the best little small town in Nebraska!

Nebraska rockz!!! i lived in Dannebrog,NE for about 4 years. There was only about 350 people on average that lived there. Everyone was nice and we wern't a town all about business. You could just go outside and feel like your in a great place because it was a small town. Best place to live ever!!!
