We found this house listed on the following website. Does anyone know if it's for real, or a hoax?????

It was a large old farmhouse located in Nelson, NE, on 3 lots for $5000.00, found on Nebraska SuperAds.

It's entirely possible it was real. Particularly if it were "old" in the sense that it needed some serious TLC...

Its definitely possible. Not so long ago an "old house" sold in my small hometown for less than $10,000. The house was old, but it wasn't a condemned house or anything. You'll just find that often times these old houses, which have been lived in by the same person for 80 years, can at times be tough to sell. This is particularly true of small isolated towns throughout Nebraska. Often the only market interest is the associated lots...not the house.
