Can someone please advice how to get to Chimney Rock from I-80. Will be passing through NE, heading west, and thought it would be interesting to see it up close, if I don't have to stray to far off. Thanks for any suggestions!

"Long-haul"?? depends on the point of reference... at the point you leave I-80, no its not a long haul.
If you exit I-80 at Sidney then its less than an hour up to Bayard (where Chimney Rock is)... so it can be a quick sidetrip... Sidney is about... 100 miles east of Cheyenne, WY and 120 miles west of North Platte 220 miles west of Kearney 265 miles west of Grand Island 350 miles west of Lincoln 400 miles west of Omaha |
