Default Things to do in Lincoln?

Im going back to Omaha for a week and wanted to head to Lincoln for a day....

I was wondering what your thoughts were on Morrill Hall (University of Nebraska State Musuem) and Planetarium. Is it worth the trip?

I also wanted to go to the Sunken Gardens since it's free, and possibly a restaurant or night spot. I haven't been to Lincoln since I was a teenager and I want to show my Oregonian boyfriend what Nebraska is really about.

For your restaurant, one of my favorites is Lazlos's in the Haymarket (downtown). Its a sports bar/ burger joint, pretty good place.

tka6 is on a distinguished road
If you like Thai food, I would highly suggest the Blue Orchid that is in the old federal building turned apartments downtown. It's really nice dinner place that's affordable.

However, if you are sushi fan, shogun restaurant on hwy 2 is great!

If you're craving American food...I would go to Yia Yia's for awesome pizza and beer, or Bison Witches (great soups and sandwiches) ...both are downtown on O street.

You can't go wrong with either of those places!

Have fun!

But there is also a Lazlos in West Omaha now. And don't forget to go to the Omaha Zoo. And I thought the Museums were nice, maybe you could take a tour of the Capitol Building.

I think Morrill Hall is great, it's not the best Musuem in the world, but it's diffentely worth a trip there. The Planetarium is pretty small. It's cute, but I don't know if it's worth coming all the way down to Lincoln. It's worth a trip there though if you're already here.
Sunken Gardens is amazing. It got redone recently and now it's so beautiful. The flowers this year are incredible.
A place to eat would depend on what you're in the mood for. The suggestions above are all good.
Walk down O Street and take your pick for a nightspot. The bars and clubs aren't extremely busy this time of year since UNL isn't in session.
Depending on your age and what you like, Bricktop is a cool club. They usually play techno or the like there. Dillenger's (sp?) is a hip-hop club and is normally packed on Friday's and Saturday's. (That's my favorite place downtown. :P)
Sometimes there's concerts and whatnot at Knickerbocker's on 9th and O. That can be pretty fun.
That's really all I can think of at the moment. Have fun!
