My favorite part of Nebraska is the panhandle west of where I-80 and I-76 fork off. The bluffs along parts of I-80 and the occasional oil wells are neat to look at.

I also like the Omaha area also.

NebSwede is on a distinguished road
I have liked something about almost every region in Nebraska, but here are three favorites:
- Missouri River bluffs and woodlands from Peru down to the Kansas line, including Indian Cave State Park near Barada.
- The Bohemian Alps northwest of Lincoln and the little villages and crossroads hamlets tucked away in those hills: Loma, Bee, Abie, Plasi, etc.
- The Sandhills, of course, particularly the Birdwood Creek and Snake River areas

I also like northeastern Nebraska near Ponca. Ponca St. Park is neat and there is a good overlook of the Missouri River near the visitors center and a view of tip of South Dakota and the bluffs of Iowa along the Big Sioux River.

Another area I like is southeastern part of Nebraska between Nebraska City and the Kansas border. It looks pretty in late summer/early fall.

blue joy is on a distinguished road
Every part of Nebraska is my favorite part in the state. The sand hills and bluffs are beautiful, the Missouri River Valley is gorgeous. And, so is the metropolitian area of Omaha and Lincoln. I also enjoy the plains in the south central area of the state. I've never been up way up north around the bad lands, but I'm sure I'd love that if I went there.
