I grew up in Neligh, NE and graduted in 1996, then moved to 3 different towns and had a son in 2004 and he startes school this year, so we moved back to Neligh so my son can grow up in a small town .

I have been away--far away, traveling, and am happy to be reading the forum, once again. I have found a really good life around Alma and Republican City. Love the lake and the ambitious people, here.

I've been a native of Omaha my entire life(not a young pup) and have visited other places, but love it here. If I had a weather machine, I would only wish for a longer spring and fall.

It's fantastic! Unbelievably quiet and within walking distance of most of the amenities we need.

It's kind of surprising what you can find, if you look.
