Hello everyone. Would anyone happen to know a notary that can speak and read russian. I need to have some paperwork notarized but it has to be done by a notary that can understand russian and that lives in the Omaha or Lincoln area. Any help would be appreciated.

I also checked the Lincoln area using Dex On Line and they don't have much there. You might also try University of Nebraska - Omaha in their language department to see what they have.

Default Visa?

The notary wouldn't happen to be for a K-1 visa applicant, would it? I am in this process now and am looking for Russians in the area or Russians soon to be in the area.

Good luck!

Kevin

You may have, by now, found what you need. However, if you haven't, this is what I'd try. At the University of Nebraska, there is an Associate Professor of Russian. Contact this Professor and see if s/he can go along with you to a notary, (or bring the notary with you to the Professor) who will be able to translate the material for the notary. Am hoping that would work!
