Talking Took a job in Sidney- Please tell me about it

I took a job in Sidney without so much as a visit, because the money was so good I couldn't turn it down. If I don't like it I can always leave, but from what I've read I think I'll like it.

What is it like there?

What's it like to live there?

What's there to do?

How are the people?

Will you be working at Cabelas? Or the railroad? Just guessing=-) That is all I really know Sydney for. It is a small cow town - but has a well known name b/c it is the headquarters of Cabelas, a large outdoors store (if you dont know that already). I hope you are accustomed to rural lifestyles - it is quite far from 'city life.'

P.S. I believe the population is around 6,000.

One nice thing is that you are are a few hours from some bigger cities(Fort collins/boulder, Denver) Not much around sydney. From a distance it looks like a giant tree farm, A bunch of trees in the middle of nowhere.
