Default Smaller towns near Columbus

David city is an awsome little town. I grew up there and my parent still live there. I don't know if you have kids, but it has a newer swimming pool that kids love, two parks, and is a fairly safe place to live...not much for crime but dogs at large and cows on road!! There are two elemenarty schools and two high schools. It's only 30 minutes from either Columbus or Seward. They have upgraded their dining by adding a Subway, Amigos, and Runza!!! I suggest Northside Cafe for real good cooking!!! Bellwood isn't bad. It's small and filled with farmers, but hey....they got a gas station in the last couple of years!! I would also suggest to stay away from Schuyler...not a great place!!!

Hi. I am looking to rent a house in Columbus, NE or very close surrounding area. I currently live in Florida so this is a big change for us. I have three kids and a husband and we are looking for a 3-4 bedroom. An apartment is not really an option so as long as the area is good, the distance is secondary. Can anyone offer any assistance or helpful information?
