Default Any Railroad jobs in Nebraska

I live in Texas, but have lived in Nebraska before. I chose to come to Texas to work in the oilfield, but now find myself looking for work since the oil boom has dropped dramaticly in the last two months. Where can I go or who can I talk to to apply for a conductor or engineer position...Any help would be appeciated.

Funny, around the DFW area drilling is occuring at a frantic pace. There are ads in the papers for roughnecks in West Texas. If your any good on a rig, North Dakota has many of them and most are starving for hands in all areas.

Union Pacific (METRA) has been recruiting in Chicago recently. Pay syarts pretty low but there is opportunity for advancement.

Hmmm..... Alliance is focused around the railroad... but I don't know if we are talking about "Conductor" or "Engineer" when referring to this, I haven't done the research.

You might want to take a look into it if you have nothing else, because the bulk of our job market is either Parker (hose factory) or The Railroad.
