Through all of the great Nebraska people that I've met during our OU/Nebraska rivalry, I'm firmly convinced that Nebraska Cornhusker fans are the class of college football. If that's indicative of the state of Nebraska (and I believe it is), then I'd like to wish you all...

A very, very Happy Thanksgiving.

Everytime I think of the Cornhuskers and the Sooners, I think of that classic 1971 battle- one of the best college games EVER!

One thing we can all agree on, it was one HECK of a game. I don't follow college ball quite as intense as NFL, one thing for sure; both Pellini and Hawkins has got the programs in the right direction after a couple down years. Right now the creme de la creme is in the south division; you have 4 south teams that will finish in the top 15 this year. K-State has announced Bill Snyder will return to the Wildcats as head coach. The next couple seasons will be REAL interesting. And there is always Missouri, who most certainly goes to a bowl this year. One word fits the Big 12 -DOMINANT!!

It sure was! Both my daughters go to CU, so I had a vested interest in CU winning. On the bright side, my alma mater, Pitt, beat West Virginia in the final minutes.
