I don't remember exactly what the deal was but it wasn't so much legalizing gambling as it was voting for specific casinos in certain parts of the state. There was a casino for DT Omaha (a replica of the Venetian in Vegas) or other casinos outstate.

Nevada has a high divorce rate because a couple do not even have to be a Nevada resident. Nevada divorce laws are slack! The gambling has little to do with it!
