Mullens, NE
If anybody has ever driven through Mullens or even knows any little remote detail about the area could you please help me out. I am considering relocating there in a while and need to know about the area. Thanks, SDM...

they have the 12th highest rated golf resort in the world surrounded by the beautiful sand hills and close to many other awesome views, and lakes and the badlands, the black hills are a bit distant but not too far, basically it maybe the most underrated, unknown resort town in the country... Even I didnt know about mullen until today, I found out how awesome it is!!

Yeah, for real. It looks like a cool spot, quiet and laid back, with plenty of outdoorsy type stuff to do. And Cheap! The median house cost is under $50,000. It is VERY remote though, I wonder what kind of amenities they have there, and where you would go to get what they don't have...

So no one else has ever been to Mullen, the largest and most famous town in Hooker County?

I own a bar/restaurant there, although I don't live right in town. It is a very friendly community, and beautiful countryside, and the bar is for sale if you are looking for a business lol!! Seriously what would you like to know?

Where do people work?
How is the water?
Is it all a couple of families or is there some influx?
Decent grocery store near by?
How far to health services?
Thanks.

I don't live there, but I have been through there a few times, so I'll give it a shot.

No idea, but probably mostly ranches and ranching-related businesses.

Awesome.

No idea.

There is a small grocery in town. Major retailers in North Platte, about an hour and a half away.
How far to health services?
Most services would be in North Platte or Valentine. Both about an hour and a half in different directions.
Thanks.
