Need info on Columbus, NE
I have been offered a temporary skilled labor position in Columbus, NE.
The job itself is only supposed to last 4 - 5 months. I am looking at renting a house within 30 miles of Columbus.
However, I am having a terrible time locating any rental information for the area.
A farm/ranch house would be perfect.
I am not interested in apartment or trailer park living.
Also, I would like to stay away from predominantly Spanish neighborhoods.
If anyone has any current info, it would be appreciated.

You could always rent in Norfolk, NE. It's just a quick drive from Norfolk to Columbus with 4-lanes all the way.

Hi. I am looking to rent a house in Columbus, NE or very close surrounding area. I currently live in Florida so this is a big change for us. I have three kids and a husband and we are looking for a 3-4 bedroom. An apartment is not really an option so as long as the area is good, the distance is secondary. Can anyone offer any assistance or helpful information?

Renting anything in Columbus has proven to be difficult within the last few years. Because of the influx of illegals, & the failure of the government to do anything about it, the renting situation in this town has become hard to find. What you do find is so expensive & dirty it's unbelieveable. And... yes I have tried for the last several years to find something that a single woman can afford on her own & it is near impossible.
