Question Relocating to the Minden/Holdrege, NE area!
My fiance and I are relocating to the Minden/Holdrege area with our 9 week old daughter. We are just wondering what the housing is like there. Such as average size and rental costs? We have two dogs also. Is the job market decent? I am pretty much familiar with everything else in the area as I was born in Hastings and grew up in Red Cloud. ANY information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The dogs might be tough to find a rental but I'm sure there is something out there. Rentals should be cheaper than Lincoln, for sure. There is the Minden Courier and Holdrege Daily Citizen might have some classified ads in them. I'm don't think they have websites.

What type of work are you looking for? I wouldn't say the job market is great right now but there are some jobs out there.

I’ve been through Minden, the home of Pioneer Village. As I recall there are lots of huge, grand old stately homes along tree lined streets. Real nice looking little town. Don't know about any specific rentals, but I would hazard a guess that the costs would be reasonable.
