This is what I heard. Two were runner ups from the contest they had for the last plate and two were designed by the state.

They are all rather bad but I like the meadowlark and goldenrod the best.

Very boring is right.

OMG, did Tom Osbourne design them all?

I did vote the bird sitting on the ditchweed stem.

Unfortunately we no longer have Nebraska plates on our cars, but we lived there when the sunset/sandhill cranes plates were new. Some people said the colors reminded them of a container of "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter!"

I loved the silhouette/sunset/crane idea, but to me they messed up the with the background colors. Instead of that vivid YELLOW/RED sky, they should have used a blue/light purple/light orange sky for the sunset, with the black numbers and black silhouette of the cranes/wetland reeds. That would have been stunning. A South Carolina plate has a new plate that has this beautiful evening sky color in the background. These colors look great on any color car.

Please feel free to use this suggestion, Nebraska DMV! To me the sunsets/skies in Nebraska were about the prettiest we've seen anywhere!

My choice: Any of them. I'd be so grateful to be back in a beautiful area, among intelligent, non-self-centered people again, I would not care which plate my car had! The DC region has a high number of angry, aggressive people.

Nebraska is a beautiful state with great people.

Ditchweed looks nothing like goldenrod.

Got to agree not a lot of selection in the choices given for sure. A lot more to our state than meadowlarks and goldenrod.

I would like to see a multiple choice selection for plates also.

I don't like any of them. I swear that Nebraska is one of the worst states at picking out a nice looking license plate. *Ba humbug*
