I would probably go with Alltel. Soon, however, alltel will be absorbed by Verizon, so I'd probably go to Verizon and see if you would have access to alltel towers now. I'm pretty sure you would.

Yeah the Alltel absorption is slow process, but it is making progress, (notice how the verizon guy has mysteriously disappeared from their commercials?)

Alltel/Verizon would be great, but you can also go with AT&T. Platte county was one of the counties not included in the Alltel, Verizon agreement because they couldn't have a monopoly of the market.

I believe the Alltel/Verizon merger has already happened.

I used to have Verizon, and switched to Alltel last fall - right before the merger. The problem with Verizon is that they were constantly screwing with my bill. I was regularly getting charged anywhere from $25 - $50 per month more than was supposed to be.

So I switched to Alltel. Yes, I know it's now the same company. But oddly enough, my Alltel bill hasn't varied by even a penny from month to month. And that's the way it's supposed to be.

My dad travels alot and he has Alltel and Verizon. Alltel being his main phone, Verizon being his work phone and his main phone from Alltel gets MUCH MUCH better reception almost EVERYWHERE.
