Kearney, NE Singles Scene? (college, rated, places)

Early this year I moved to Kearney, NE from Iowa for a career opportunity. Unfortunately, I have also found that I am now separated and soon to be single . All the people I work with are married, have kids, etc and I’m typically quite shy and reserved. For those reasons I have been struggling to find places to meet people, make friends, and perhaps develop a romantic relationship again. I was curious if anyone could tell me where are the local single hotspots in town or good places to meet others ? Beyond that I really like the area. I had hoped I would see more people around my age (26) given the local college but the times I have gone out the majority of people are middle aged and older. I would greatly appreciate any information that anyone could provide!

I don't really reccommmend the bar scene as a place to meet women. But if you are just looking to meet people and have a good time I always liked Cunnighams/The Loft, and Thunderhead in Kearney. I checked your profile and judging from the music you like you would probably like these places better than a lot of the places in Kearney. Good Luck!
