Valentine
This will sound a little odd, but I have a question/favor to ask of someone in the Valentine area.
I was wondering if there was anyone who'd be willing to record the local radio stations out there, on cassette tape for me?
Let me explain.. it's a hobby. I'm a radio broadcaster and like listening to other stations, especially "local" ones. Some stations don't stream and those are usually the ones I wish I could hear. These recordings are done for no other reason then just wanting to hear another radio station
We call these recordings airchecks, and used to be mainly done on cassette but are increasingly done on CD.
If someone is willing to do this for me, I will gladly mail a pre addressed postage paid priority mail envelope with some cassette tapes. I could also paypal or snail mail a money order for the cost of this.
Email me privately, walkerbroadcasting(at)gmail(dot).com making sure to put the @ symbol and dot sign where they belong

Why don't you try contacting the radio station direct? And ask for a copy of their programming.

I work in radio and I know for a fact 99 percent of radio stations don't have the time to do this, so I don't even bother asking. I've had friends in other areas do this kinda thing for me in the past.

Just a thought since no one was willing to record privately for you. Not to be snotty, but wouldn't that be an infringment on copyright? Recording the station and sending it to someone?

No violation of any copyright when it's done for personal use with no profit gained... its been done for years and years between collectors.
