Default Crofton or Bloomfield Nebraska??

Due to the fact that Crofton is closer to Lewis & Clark Lake, I would have to pick Crofton. However, price wise, Bloomfield has more reasonable real estate prices.

So it just depends upon what you want.

http://crofton.nebraskablogpage.com has some pictures of Crofton.

I would also choose Crofton. You will find more things to do closer to you. And Yankton is closer. I also had truck troubles in that area a few years back now and Crofton folks went out of their way to help.

I live in Bloomfield myself because I could afford the house. But, as you said, Crofton is closer to Yankton and as I said, closer the the lake. There is a short cut from Bloomfield to the lake in dry weather but I sure can not use it lately.

Bloomfield for the simple fact that that's where my family all comes from. (And I know where there's a ranch-style that will be for sale soon near the schools)

I'm not sure I'd say the job market is particularly "hot" in either town, but both are within what I think of as reasonable driving distance to Yankton.

Why are you moving, billie? That might have a bit of bearing on suggestions...

you are right about Yankton and Crofton

it is easier to get between the two cities easier than if you were between Bloomfield and Yankton

I have friends and relatives who live in all 3 of those towns and it is

somewhat difficult to find the roads to get between Bloomfield and Yankton
