I've driven and been caught while under suspension, 7 times, and have already served a total of 3 sentences in jail. Just so you know, DON'T EVEN THINK of getting caught again, as the severity gets WORSE! I am in Ontario, Canada, and you wouldn't even believe this but after cooperating with the police in a HIGHLY dangerous and life-threatening drug dealer sting op, I didn't even get a break from ONE of them!! The officer said it was more likely I'd get away with a ROBBERY or DUI than a drive while suspended!! So imagine that? I have a "get outta jail" card free for FEDERAL offences but NOT a friggin PROVINCIAL stinkin' driving matter?? Wow!! The law is STUPID at times. BUt then again, I kinda understand, considering like a judge said to me before hauling me off to prison for the third time, it's like I'm making a mockery of the judicial system - laughing at the courts by re-offending! Just don't do it again. You think you won't get caught, but u will.

Umm, you were arrested 7 times for driving under suspension. Sorry, but I don't think its the law that is stupid.

Wow. . I have just never had these kinds of issues. lol.

I'm not a perfect angel, but at some point the best legal advice I can give you is to stop breaking the law. If you keep getting caught you aren't very good at it.

Also don't double, or triple, or quadruple, or more your offenses. Like don't DUI when your license is suspended, and your tags and insurance is lapsed. You're begging for it at that point.

my daughter was pulled over for speeding in virginia , she did not have any idea that her lic' was suspened because of a judgement on her because of a car accident that was her fault in 2005
the officer said her lic' was suspened in 2008 but the dmv said that it was due to a judement that put a lein on her lic; and sent her a letter ,she states she never got a letter for that what fines could she be looking at

No updates? The suspense is killing me!

I do know of some places out west where the corruption within the police department is so bad they will pull you over and ticket you for going 61, and they will pull you over and search you for going 59 for suspicious behavior. They will follow you for miles, and otherwise generally harass you in every way possible. Its fortunate you havent encountered the crooked law enforcement that exists out west.

my husband just got into a car accident. When the police showed up I told him that my husband had interlock but was in between getting it transferred in to the vehicle that we were driving ( my Acura). He ticked him for driving with a revoked license as well as failing to yield when entering a highway. I am beyond nervous because our court date is on friday and we are supposed to leave for Florida saturday morning. He has been off of probation since 2010 and has finished EVERYTHING as well as his interlock which is scheduled tpo be taken off July 10th. I guess my question is do you think that he is facing Jail time? and should I reschedule our trip?

I was pulled over and charged with driving under license forfeiture suspension. The (ohio)cop never gave me a ticket or a written warning for the reason he pulled me over. Can I have the charge dismissed ?
