I am not a resident of your state and so your senate election may be none of my business. But it does have national implications.

Speaking from a more national perspective, I am no fan of Harry Reid. His performance as Senate Majority Leader has been pitiful. But please, please do not inflict on the rest of us Sharon Angle. She is a total nut job.

I really wish Bugs Bunny were on your ballot. He would probably do a better job than the candidate of either political party. Such is the sadness of our present political situation.

In any event, I wish you wisdom in your choice. Nevada is a beautiful state (have always loved those wondrous desert mountains) and I hope better economic news is on the horizon for you folks.

Just a few weeks ago the current party claimed they would stay in power because "every election is local." So if they can each keep their home state focused on local issues then they might pull through even though every poll shows the country as a whole wants them out of Wash. (Try to find a poll that says otherwise.)

So if you are happy with the current Congress, fine. If not, now is your chance to do something about it.

I'm just sayin....
Say it on the Louisiana board where you are a resident.

Vote for NV survival...Reid.

We have had our issues personally -- but in this I'm with you 100%.

Default Republicans for Reid - pretty odd

With so much partisanship dividing our country its refreshing and really odd to see top GOP Nevadans going for Reid. The GOP hates Reid! but I suppose Angle is making Nevadans seem like dummies. I'm out of state now and she would give the state a bad name.

Prominent Republicans coming out in support of Harry Reid - Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 | 2 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun

Whether you agree with these guys or not -it took some courage.

That is just the good old boy network in full effect. It has nothing to do with Sharron Angle and everything to do the the Nevada good old boy network.
