Who doesn't pay their fair share of taxes? and how do they do it?

More importantly what is 'fair share'?

Yes, and the second generation has shown them assimilating. Learning the language. Refusing to live in ghettos. Not staying with 'their own kind' but assimilating. Becoming Americans, like the Cubans do.

Pretty broad statement, not supported by facts. Before WW1 there were many German language newspapers in this country, read by German speaking Americans. A rapid disappearance of them happened, not because of assimilation, but because of anti German racism at the entrance of America into WW1.

Many Japanese and some German and Italian Americans of the second or third generation were placed into concentration camps during WW2, innocent of any crime, they were interned solely due to Racism.

Chinese and Japanese and other Asians were actually banned from emigrating to the US for many years.

I have a book by a local historian who wrote columns for the local news paper back in the twenties and thirties, she speaks of the Japanese and Chinese farming families using the exact same terms as are used today against Los Illegalles, that is racism visited on second or third generations

Jewish Americans of the second and third and fourth and fifth and more generations were prohibited by CC&R's of many subdivisions to live in or buy property those subdivisions, that is racism.

Even as late as 1960 John Kennedy a Catholic had to promise not to follow the orders of the Pope, that is racism, even though he was a US citizen, that was not good enough.

Discrimination against the other groups went on for years, in part due to their propensity for using their ancestor's language. Racism.

Apparently you never lived in McGill, or Eureka, Nevada, where, as in most western mining towns, citizens were segregated by race or ethnicity, generally with the English Americans at the top of the hill, the blacks and indians at the bottom other groups scattered

Do kids ask to be born?
I don't think they do and they should not be considered as work horses (unpaid, mostly) for the family.

I never said anything about people turning their kids into work horses. I just said it's no big deal for people to work as a family unit and open up businesses.

And as far as people not paying their fair share of taxes: There are some AMERICAN CITIZENS who don't pay their fair share of taxes and who are running successful businesses; sometimes with the help of their children. And they're filthy rich and can afford to pay more taxes than the average Joe, but they can get away with murder (literally sometimes). For example: DONALD TRUMP'S TAX EVASION

I don't see anyone in this thread complaining about all the AMERICANS who cheat on their taxes.

But yet we always gotta have a discussion about the areas full of Mexicans, large Mexican families living in a house, Mexicans opening up businesses, Mexicans having too many kids. Most Mexicans are Catholics and the Pope isn't big on birth control, remember? But no it must be some moral defect as the reason to why they have large families.

And I'm tired of people screaming about the Mexicans taking our jobs. Think about it: If they're illegal, they're probably paid below minimum wage because the employer can get away with paying them less. And most of the jobs are so menial THAT WE AMERICANS WOULDN'T TAKE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! Slave labor. And we don't mind them being slaves...But God forbid they work together, save money, open up a business, and make a better life for themselves!

And I think WE may have the market cornered on greed and materialism. Especially if we'd rather see our brother down and out than share our success with them so that they can take care of their families.

No matter what color, race, or nationality we are, we all have the right to exist, live in peace, and earn a living.

How come we can't have compassion for other people?
