Default One benefit -

The only benefit of living in Fernley rather than Fallon is you are 30 miles closer to Reno. Fallon is roughly 60 miles from Reno. Fernley is growing and recently got a Wal-Mart store and Lowes building supply, Other than that there is not much else in Fernley. They do have a race track (but so does Fallon); both communities have great youth activities and good schools. The City of Fallon and Churchill County have great law enforcement and fire protection. Almost all religions are represented in Fallon. The main income in Fallon is from ranching and the military/government workforce; Fernley is a bedroom community for Reno but does have a number of industrial operations. Fernley had water problems a number of years ago which hurt their growth but they must have found a new source for water as they have had a lot of growth in the past 5 to 6 years. Between the two I would have to pick Fallon because it does offer more than Fernley. mod cut: soliciting removed
