Default New Fall Show on Laughlin???

I saw some ad for a new fall show about Laughlin. Who are they going to get to play Dan Rowan and Dick Martin....my guess would be Bob Saget and Regis Philbin! Who's gonna play Lily Tomlin? Gwen Stefani?

Oooops, I'm sorry....I was thinkin' a remake of Laughin...not Laughlin!

Seriously, anyone know what the show is about? Was it filmed in Laughlin?

Laugh in!! ...man, that dates us!

Well from what I can gather, it is part of the CBS new fall lineup. Viva Laughlin is supposed to be about some guy wanting to open up a casino and ending up dead.

They can base a whole series on this plot?

Viva Laughlin on CBS.com - Home (broken link)

And no, from what I can gather, the inside casino shots are filmed at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, California.

They'll probably do like CSI and film one scene in Laughlin then every thing elses in Ca.

I somehow can't see this one going far.....

IMO...no one can replace James Cahn in any role he plays...he's a movie star legend!

Did anyone see the 'Viva, Laughlin' show? I TiVo'd it, but haven't gotten there yet. What's the concensus on it? Any good?

I did see it (well, the last half, really)...from what I saw of it, it didn't look bad...I'll definitely check out another episode or two before deciding (Caution...switches to Sunday now, after 60 Minutes). Didn't see any Laughlin scenes, per se, at least any that I would notice (been there about 3 times).

It seems to be part comedy/drama/musical.
I really find it interesting when they show such far-fetched bets as betting $250,000 on roulette. Then winning. Then betting half a million right after that and winning a million. That can only happen in tv series and movies. lol

agree, Pink...what I found really hilarious about that, is that the guy puts a backpack filled with $250K on the table as declares "money plays", bets red and wins. The pit boss declares "pay him" and he gets $250K in chips. No one ever bothered to count the money before he bet!

Definitely worth checking out another episode, tho'.
