abortion effects a "possible life" a person is a LIFE that exists and is tangible. abortion is a more dynamic issue because of the "what ifs" and that it effects the woman who is going to be a "possible mother"
its a matter of protecting rights and best interests of life that is.. rather than disregarding those rights to them and applying them to the wind.. (the what ifs)

I used to be really hardcore pro-life back in the day... I understand where you're coming from, but I'd agree with you actually that late term abortions (except in really extreme circumstances) could be considered as tantamount to murder, once some sort of consciousness, or capacity to feel pain has developed. Before that, I'd rather have it legal on demand because if not then more women will have late term abortions than the number that happens now, I think. Do you consider a fertilized egg cell to be a baby? And if not, what makes a partially developed fetus that hasn't developed any type of mammalian-level consciousness yet any more of a person than a fertilized egg cell?

Unborn children are alive. To put it another way, they are "a life."
They are not "a wind."
Please stop and think about what you are saying.

Dolphins and white blood cells are alive too... the issue shouldn't be life, but personhood. The personhood of a fertilized egg cell or half-developed fetus is subject to philosophical/religious debate and shouldn't be the realm of government, but the government should step in when some sort of consciousness develops, at least.

everytime you have sex and ejaculate into a condom you are putting "a life" at the bottom of a latex tube... thus ruining the chance of that life to ever come about... YOU should be ashamed yeledaf.... stop and think about what you're doing when you have sex with your wife/significant other!! and for god sakes.. think about the LIFE!!!

Speaking of "falsely accused/convicted" people has nothing to do with whether the death penalty is just or not, it's questioning whether we can reliably determine guilt.
There was a case in NJ where a young man, in celebration of his birthday walked up tp a stranger on the sidewalk and shot(fatally) the stranger in the face. There were witnesses, this was not a circumstantial case. I couldn't think of a more just use of the death penalty. I'd gladly push the plunger myself and feel no remorse.

Since neither the law nor science consider early abortion to be "terminating a life" I find that reasoning to be at best a biased opinion with no basis in fact.
