Default good area to raise kids
Can someone recomend a good area to relocate to that you can raise a family with affordable housing.

How about the midwest?

Try northern Nevada if you have your heart set on moving here. Some of the smaller towns offer a good quality of life for families if you hate the bustle of a bigger city like Las Vegas.

Minden, NV is a great option. You are 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe and skiing. Very safe here. Only about 3,000 people, but close enough to cities that you aren't missing any resources. Only issue is schools. Schools are good for Nevada, but that isn't saying much. Private might be your best option there.
