I know this is old, but i looked and looked for days. i have a few ideas for places to move. i need help narrowing my list down. it feels like I've read every post here and other states, IE AZ/UT. Utah is to cold . according to her. the wife our 3 yr old and i would like to move out that way. the problem is, she wants to lay out 24/7/365. i want to hunt, fish, and go beat my truck( 4 wheeling..yes I'm a redneck lol. ). i don't mind traveling for what i want to do. i know a place with both doesn't exist...i can dream. as far as work, I'm in the construction industry ,foreman. she is in the food service industry ,manager @ mc'd. any ideas are welcome...and if someone can explain how the hunting licences work..what they mean...combos...etc.....

I don't know if Nevada is for you. The northern and central parts of Nevada get snow in the winter - not all that much, but it can get real cold. The good news is that there is a lot of fishing, hunting and 4-wheel driving in northern Nevada. Southern Nevada - say Las Vegas area - isn't much warmer in the winter. It's probably in the 50's today and in the 30's at night (and in the summer, it's often 110 degrees during the day.
Since you say you're in the construction business, guess what, home construction is in the dumper . Might be hard to find a job in that field. |

Not if he makes his living in construction. Prescott is in the tank. Only Vegas is surviving in that industry. The strip sucks up the residental shutdown.
Vegas or some other area of the country. |
