Default Boulder City

Considering moving to Boulder City but heard conflicting stories that non-Mormons won't be welcome and we're worried our daughter will be ostracized because we're Christians. Any info will be helpful. Thank you.

I lived in Vegas from 94-99 and knew a number of non-Mormon families that lived in BC with no problems whatsoever. I also knew several Mormon families that lived there, and let's just say that they're not quite as "pure" as the church makes them out to be.....lol.

I seriously doubt you and your familiy would have any problems with being Christians.

Bob

I would have expected this statement in the 70's and mabe in the 80's but not now, have you done any research on the Morman religion? if you had you would know they are Christians too! Boulder City has many different churches and religions and the people that live here are not as narrow minded as you seem to be. I grew up in Boulder City and moved back here after having children and have found the only problem I have are with parents who don't know what their children are into or upto. Please read up on the facts before you speak or type.
Thankyou.

I think it's a big rumor. I've known a lot of people from Boulder City and never heard of such nonsense.

yes they are Jewish, but just because they're Jewish doesnt mean Green Valley is filled with Jews. It used to be, but not so much now.

The area is not filled with Mormons either. Largest demographic is Catholic.

Jellyfish, I have lived in BC for over 10 yrs and myself and kids were very active Mormons when first moving here, we have been welcome more as non-mormons that when we were active in the church. There is a very large group of Christian kids here and most BC kids are good. I'ts all in the way they are raised.
As for the comments from 'swmkidz', I would guess she is Mormon and seems to take offence at your statement.... funny how non-christian she sounds
I'm sure most cofflicts w/ mormons stay within the mormon comunity. That could be why I'm one one anymore! You and you children should feel very much at home in Boulder City!! WELCOME!!

Funny; I thought that Mormons were 'Christian'.
