We have a chance to move to winnemucca and would love to hear the pros and cons. I have 2 kids, a 12 yr old boy [ loves to skate board and do any sports and outdoor fun] 16 yr old girl [ loves school choir, softball and animals] Info on home buying, community acceptance on new comers, jobs, would be great!

I use to visit a lot last year. Well Prigles potato chips are manufacutred in Winny. They have loads of Casinos, just got a Super Walmart. Very large Mormon comunity and Has 7 brothels.
I would visit before moving there. I am orig. from nyc and A Roman Catholic and found it at times to be cold personality wise. kind of like a outside. ' I happen to be friends with the DA and a few others and they are all Roman Catholics and have the same feelings. They have since moved. |

Not a bad place though if you are used to small towns. Summers are nice and warm but winters can be cold and bleak. I'm sure economy is good right not with gold so high. |
