there's a prison there...that's the only thing I know about it. It's sort of in the middle of nowhere. The average high temperature in July is 98. Personally I would want to live in a bigger town, even Fernley or Dayton would be more suited to my needs.

I'd think Lovelock might get a bit more snow than you were suggesting (or than I thought you were suggesting) in your OP.

Climate Lovelock - Nevada and Weather averages Lovelock

Looks like about 9 inches a year. Not terrible, and certainly it's a nice area of the state. But not just a touch, either.
