I honestly don't think we'll have a problem in Nevada. Not with refugees. ISIS is already in the US. Why would they need to sneak in with a relatively small number of refugees who are going to be looked at very closely anyway?

Nevada also wouldn't be the best state to try to pull off an attack for lots of logistical reasons. Only two major metro areas in the whole, vast state. Tons of military resources, including the kind they/we don't talk about. A tiny Muslim population ( no way to hide amongst a bunch of innocent people ) and, uh, the fact that we are highly likely to shoot back.

Sandoval is just asking the admin to double check everybody to maintain his street cred with the party, and the constituents who might be nervous. If they ( jihadists ) are coming here to the valley, they are coming on a tourist visa.

Totally different scenario than Paris.
I think Las Vegas represents everything that offends them and would prime target.

That is if a very good question and one for which I do not have a solution.

I believe that there are already many ISIS members here. And if they want more here, there are many other ways to get here.

How do we turn our backs on these people? 99.999% are true refugees and, what appears to be minute percentage of ISIS members are using refugee status to get in. They will get in regardless nearly just as easily through other means.

The issue is settled. I was getting a little worried as he was a little late to join. Bravo for Governor Sandovol!

I wouldn't say settled but makes you think of alternatives. How about Guantanamo Bay? Since we're the world's police, it would be a good holding station until Syria can be stabilized. I understand the desire for foreigners to want to come to America but the issue is that they don't want to become Americanized. To me that's a real problem when foreigners want to change the customs of the new land...kind of like Californians coming to Nevada. Bwahaha.
