Use RedFin web site or app. It has option/filter of "No HOA" to search REs.

FYI, OP is asking "How to find No HOA REs". Was not asking your opinion of HOA or not. People just refuse to READ.

All the listings will tell you if a home has an HOA. There are many homes available that do not!

I know it's hard to find HOA free housing here. My plan when I am ready is just to tell my realtor I prefer no HOA. Which I'm sure would really cut down my matches.
I rent in a condo HOA. It wasn't so bad until my neighbor below me moved in, she's made my life hell through the HOA all last year and until this day she still thinks she's queen of the condo complex. A lot of BODs are bunch of old bastards, and it's so political. I worked for a property management company for HOAs, and I never thought I would live in one. Hated them then, and has been reaffirmed. So glad I'm a renter.
My landlord's property manager says in some other properties they have terrible parking issues, they go out there with a tape measure and fine. A friend of mine in another neighborhood got in trouble for weeds.
Good luck! Let us know what helps your search

Not knowing much about them, I can't understand why they are necessary in nearly every development these days. Used to be a decent code enforcement officer could keep the rats out.

Looking for homes in rural areas near Tucson I see many HOA fees of 15 to 25 dollars a month. I don't know what that covers, but I'd hate to think an organization that does that little could have any say over my property. Something I'd have to research. And I'll be looking out for the same as we look in NV.
Wow, X2 on all of that! We looked around Vail, AZ, and some other rural areas with these low HOA fees and I felt the same way.

I would not search by ZIP code. As someone else suggested, the homes for sale sites allow you to select for no HOA along with all the other parameters you can put in for homes in a certain city. That will give you a good place to start.
